To our Eastgate Manor Residents, Families and Friends,
We at Eastgate are taking every measure to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. In addition to screening all staff and medical personnel, we will continue to restrict visitors unless it’s absolutely needed.
Beginning on Tuesday March 17, 2020, we temporarily closed our Dining Room, Bistro, Lower Level Activity Rooms and Lobby. We will keep these areas closed until March 25th – or a date to be determined – and update everyone if we are able to reopen the areas. Residents will still be able to get their mail in the mailroom and have access to snacks. Residents can still go to doctors’ appointments but ask that you please evaluate the importance of each. We are incorporating the 6 feet rule for social distancing throughout our community. Staff is also practicing the 6 feet rule. We will all continue to work together though this difficult time. Overall, everyone has been extremely cooperative and we thank you for your patience.

Please also keep in mind, we are sending this to first contacts only for confidentiality purposes. If you have things you would like to drop off, you can still coordinate that with our front desk.
