The health and safety of our residents and team members remain our highest priority.

Dear Residents and Families:

The health and safety of our residents and team members remain our highest priority. As we continue to face the uncertainty and concern regarding the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we continue to follow the guidelines of the Illinois Department of Public Health, McHenry County Health, and CDC. We are saddened to announce we have one resident on our third floor and one resident on our first floor west wing, who have tested positive for COVID-19 – a total of two. The Residents are currently in the hospital receiving support of qualified health care providers. Our thoughts and prayers are with them and their families.

To prevent further spread of the disease, Eastgate Manor continues to take the following measures:

  • – Facilitating a deep clean of the entire facility, including all common areas
  • – Continued visitor restriction
  • – Continued screening of all providers and staff members for symptoms such as fever, daily, before entering the building
  • – We are closely monitoring all residents for symptoms or change in condition.

We are coordinating our efforts with the McHenry County Department of Health to promptly identify and monitor individuals who have had recent contact with our COVID-19 positive individual to prevent further spread within our facility and community. We will contact you if your loved one is suspected or diagnosed with COVID-19.

We are committed to providing you with a safe and healthy environment. For any questions, please feel free to call.
