[UPDATE 12-2-20] The health and safety of our Eastgate Manor residents, families and employees is our highest priority.

The health and safety of our Residents and Team Members remain our highest priority. As we continue to face the uncertainty and concern regarding the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we continue to follow the guidelines of the Illinois Department of Public Health (“IDPH”), McHenry County Health, and Centers for Disease Control (“CDC”).

If and when there is a positive COVID test, residents, family and impacted parties will be notified. We will have COVID-19 testing at Eastgate for the virus with all staff twice a week until further notice. We will keep residents posted when we have to test next.

To prevent further spread of the disease, Eastgate Manor continues to take the following measures:

  • Facilitating a deep clean of the entire facility, including all common areas
  • Restricting visitor access to the center
  • Screening all providers and staff members for symptoms such as fever daily before entering the building
  • No group dining or activities until further notice
  • We are closely monitoring all residents for symptoms or change in condition
  • We are coordinating our efforts with the McHenry County Department of Health to promptly identify and monitor individuals who have had recent contact with any COVID-19 positive individual.
  • We will contact you if your loved one is suspected or diagnosed with COVID-19.
