[UPDATE 11-14-20] The health and safety of our Eastgate Manor residents, families and employees is our highest priority.

November 14, 2020

Dear Residents and Families:

The health and safety of our Residents and Team Members is our highest priority. As we continue to face the uncertainty and concern regarding the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic, we continue to follow the guidelines of the Illinois Department of Public Health (“IDPH”), McHenry County Health, and Centers for Disease Control (“CDC”).

Family members and staff will be notified if and when someone tests positive for COVID-19 – and working together with the McHenry County Department of Health, we coordinate all notification efforts of those who have come in contact with a positive case.

To prevent spread of the disease, Eastgate Manor continues to take the following measures:

Facilitating a deep clean of the entire facility, including all common areas
Restricting visitor access to the center
Screening all providers and staff members for symptoms such as fever daily before entering the building
No group dining or activities until further notice
We are closely monitoring all residents for symptoms or change in condition
We will contact you if your loved one is suspected or diagnosed with COVID-19.

We are committed to providing all with a safe and healthy environment. For any questions, please feel free to call.

Sincerely,

Jason Benedict
