[UPDATE 7-25-20] The health and safety of our Eastgate Manor residents, families and employees is our highest priority.

July 25, 2020

Dear Residents and Families:

The health and safety of our residents and team members remain our highest priority. As we continue to face the uncertainty and concern regarding the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we continue to follow the guidelines of the Illinois Department of Public Health (“IDPH”), McHenry County Health, and Centers for Disease Control (“CDC”). Our current restrictions and screening will continue until further notice.

We have been very fortunate to have no positive COVID-19 cases since whole house testing on June 2, 2020. We still have to take all precautions necessary for any residents who leave the building. Currently, residents are required to stay under a 14-day quarantine upon returning from the hospital, skilled nursing facility, doctor’s office, etc. Please make sure our nursing staff is contacted before making your appointment or going out for any reason. Notification will be sent out if anything changes.

Our Family and Friend Outdoor Visits have been great for everyone and they will continue. Reach out to us if you have any questions regarding a visit. We are hopeful to start outdoor activities sometime in the coming weeks, but we are not able to at this point. Activity Staff are still traveling with their Activity Carts as well as providing Activities for residents in their rooms. We will keep everyone posted as we get updates. Please remember to social distance to at least six feet, wash hands frequently, wear a mask when requested, and report any signs and symptoms to nursing. Our outdoor patios will also remain closed until further notice.

We are committed to providing you with a safe and healthy environment. For any questions, please call. We appreciate your kind words and patience.
