To all Residents, Families and Friends:
We wanted to let you know we are working on structuring some visitations between either Resident to Resident, Family to Resident, or Friends to Residents.
Although there will be phases of Illinois opening up in June, we cannot plan on opening our doors completely. Through guidance and recommendations from CDC, IDPH, and our Clinical support teams, we want to begin some visits when able.
We understand how hard this has been for everyone, and moving forward, we are working on a plan for safe visits with families or resident interactions. We still do not plan on holding group activities or opening dining until further notice, but we will let everyone know when that is going to happen.
That structure will probably not be the same as before to start, but our goal would be to return to as normal as possible. The plan would be to schedule visits that are approved and supervised to make sure social distancing is in progress.
We would also be implementing sign-ups to prevent overcrowding. Socialization is so important and we want to start connecting in one safe way or another. We will keep you posted and be sending out further information before June 1, 2020. In the meantime, we do have access to mobile devices to help FaceTime or connect virtually, so do not hesitate to reach out.
